Offline verification refers to the framework that enables entities to perform Offline Verification of Aadhaar number holder for identity verification without connecting to the UIDAI’s CIDR (Central Identity Data Repository) . It allows secure, consent-based, and offline identity verification.

Technical Requirement to become an OVSE

  1. Logo in SVG format (<10Kb)*
  2. A call back URL where UIDAI will post the response data*
  3. Organization Name to be displayed in Aadhaar App*
  4. Domain Name for verification*
  5. Public Certificate with 2 Year Validity*
  6. Application ID - Android/iOS (App to App intent call)#

Step 1

OVSE application form to be downloaded from the link

Step 2

Fill in organization details

Complete the form with organization and technical details as applicable.

Step 3

Sign and email documents

Authorised signatory to sign and stamp the form along with the T&C. Email the signed, scanned documents (pdf) to UIDAI (ovse.registration@uidai.net.in)

Step 4

UIDAI review for onboarding

UIDAI reviews your application, if found satisfactory the entity is onboarded as an OVSE
